Beauty, of course, comes in many forms, but when you look at many of the women who are generally considered to be amongst the most beautiful in the world, often what they have in common is a certain exoticism. In some, this quality comes from their physical features such as their skin coloring or the shape and color of their eyes, whilst in others it is their bodily shape or height which gives this effect. For many, however, it is their style of dress which provides that unmistakable sultriness which is very much associated with exotic cultures.

While the blonde-haired, blue-eyed look will almost certainly retain its enduring appeal for years to come, it is the exotic beauty of women such as Brazilian model Adriana Lima and American actress and model Megan Fox who have become the inspiration for many ordinary women to find their own definition of exotic in recent years. Just what is it though that defines a look of exoticism?

Some would say that it is nothing more than a look which is different to one’s own native culture, but there are probably few who would describe a native Spanish woman who dyes her hair, eyelashes and eyebrows blonde and wears blue-colored contact lenses to achieve a Scandinavian look, for example, as exotic-looking. If anything, her original look with dark hair and eyes would better fit most people’s idea of exoticism.

Probably the women that we most associate with an exotic look are those from the likes of the Latin American nations, Africa and the Pacific Islands. Long, dark hair, dark skin, smoldering eyes and sensual, pouting lips are some of the first characteristics to come to mind, but in addition it is the use of color in their clothes and accessories that make the women from these places stand out. Unlike in many of the European countries, for instance, where colors tend to be far more muted, in what we think of as the more exotic nations colors are bright and vivid and bold.

While there is much that women of all nations can do to create an exotic look using make-up and hair dyes, one of the simplest and most effective methods is through accessories. You might not want to replace your entire wardrobe with brightly-colored outfits, but by introducing some stunning hand painted silk scarves and hand dyed shawls, you can give just about any outfit an exotic touch.

The reason for choosing hand painted scarves and shawls is largely to do with the intensity of the color, which is something that cannot be replicated by using mass-production printing techniques. The 100% pure silk is important too, firstly because of the way that it absorbs the color and allows it to remain so vibrant, and also because the fabric, with its sumptuous sheen and softness itself has a look of exoticism.

No matter whether we think of a Pacific Islander wrapped in a sarong-style silk scarf on the beach or a gorgeous Brazilian model strutting down the catwalk, the look of exoticism is one which equates to quality and elegance, but there are few accessories which can single-handedly incorporate all of the elements required to qualify as exotic. With their glamorous color, fabulous fabric and exquisite elegance, however, hand painted silk scarves and shawls can transform you instantly into a smoldering exotic beauty.

Finding jewelry and searching for the perfect belt or hair band can be difficult but why search when you can make the best out of what you already have. By all means do go shopping if your selection is limited but you’ll be surprised how many items we have in our closets because we simply don’t see any other use for them. But with most accessories the great part is you can use them make your outfit look classy and sheik with just adding bracelets or necklaces. But you can make the best out what you have with these simple steps.

1.Scarves. Scarves are not only great for keeping warm but they are good for several things. Silk scarves are great for all seasons so pay attention to the fabric that you choose whether it is silk or cotton. Scarves can be used for head bands, belts high waits or low, an accessory to your hand bag and many more. Great painted silk scarves can be found at WomenClothingToday.com

2. Bangles. Having bracelets are fine but bangle are more common and can be found for cheaper prices. Just using about 5 silver bangles can make a difference when you want to be casual with a hint of shine.

3. Paper boy hats. These hats are great because they give off a tom boyish feel but also a unique look for any woman. The material to look out for on these hats is polyester and cotton. Some have little belt buckles on them or stylish fold that you can find at Target.com or the department store itself.

4. Cotton Tote bags. Not only are these durable but they serve a great purpose for school or work. You can find them with great designs already or another great perk with these bags is that you can make a design on it yourself. You have your own canvas to paint. Bags like these are very common at Wal-Mart.

5. Messenger Bags. These bags are very small and convenient enough to hang alongside your waist. These bags are good for when you go to amusement parks or go out shopping with friends. Some have just enough space for a wallet and camera while others are large enough to hold maybe a snack or two as well.

6. Necklaces. They can come in all sizes but the best and yet the most known trend is the necklace that nearly reaches your waist. Getting a beaded necklace or something similar gives you space to make the chain shorter or longer whenever you choose.

7. Hooped earrings. You can never go wrong with having this accessory. Not only can it be found at many boutiques because of their popularity you can also rest assured that these never go out of style.

All accessories are good to keep but sometimes we loose sight of what we may already have in our possessions when we could just wear the most simplest of things and look great. With items like belts and scarves they can be worn different ways. While there are other accessories don’t go out style so that you can enjoy them always.

Like so many other things, attitudes towards pregnant women have, in most cases, changed enormously over the decades. Although it does still happen in some countries that they are hidden away until after the delivery, this tends to be the exception rather than the rule nowadays. Whether they are out shopping, socializing or at work, pregnant women today are very much on show and, of course, every bit as interested in looking their glowing best as every other woman.

One of the really notable changes in terms of maternity clothing which has come about in more recent years is the move away from those enormous tent dresses which, although they were probably designed to hide the bump, actually only succeeded in giving an impression of greater overall size and shapelessness. Nowadays, pregnant women, rather than trying to disguise their bumps, are putting them proudly on display and choosing clothing which accentuates them.

In France, one of the latest trends is to tie a fabulous long scarf around the bump, usually over the top of an outfit, and simply knot it to one side. The scarf makes a fabulous feature of nature’s gift and a stunning personal and fashion statement, and of course choosing a gorgeous hand painted silk scarf provides moms-to-be with the look and feel of luxury and style. No matter whether you prefer to stick with comfy maternity jeans or want to dress up a smarter outfit, silk scarves represent a practical and cost-effective way to show off your bump with pride, and of course you still have a wonderful accessory to use long after baby is born.

Silk scarves, of course, come in all different shapes and sizes, and to achieve a great look in pregnancy you are going to need one which is long enough to wrap around your bump comfortably. Think about your favorite maternity clothes and choose a scarf which uses coordinating or contrasting colors. You will probably find that the colors you have chosen in pregnancy are much the same as those that you wore previously and so your fabulous silk scarves will match well with the rest of your wardrobe too.

Naturally, not all women want to make a feature of their bumps all of the time. Some, for example, prefer to dress more discreetly in the office or when attending evening functions and, if this is the case, then a long, flowing, hand-dyed silk shawl can be the ideal accessory for drawing attention away from the belly. The soft fabric does not cling like many manmade materials and the stunning hand painted designs draw the eye to areas that the wearer wants to be noticed.

If ever there was a time when a woman wants to feel pampered and special, it is during pregnancy. However they are worn, hand painted silk scarves and shawls are wearable works of art which exude class and luxury and are guaranteed to make any mom-to-be feel like the belle of the ball.

Human beings…it seems we are never completely happy with our natural features. Women with straight hair wish theirs was curly, those who are plump wish they were thinner and those who are petite wish they were taller. While in certain cases, such as the first two mentioned here, there are things that we can do to change our appearance, if you were born petite then, short of wearing high heels for the rest of your life, you are pretty much stuck with it. What you can do, however, is to create an impression of greater height, and not just with the shoes that you wear but with other clothing and accessories too.

Although it might not seem possible to create much of a heightening effect with silk scarves, there are in fact a number of ways that you can wear them to make you appear taller, and here are just a few suggestions.

1. While taller women can get away easily with a silk scarf tied closely to the neck, this style tends to make shorter women look even shorter. By exposing more of the neck in a V-line, however, there is the impression of greater length to the body. Team your fabulous women’s silk scarf with a V-necked dress or top by folding it and tucking it inside so that there is an inch or two on display. Silk scarves in particular are excellent for this style because the fabric is so fine and therefore less inclined to cause unsightly bulges underneath your clothing. They also feel much more comfortable when in such close contact with the skin. A beautiful hand painted silk scarf with strong colors makes a stunning statement when worn in this way against a plain top or dress.

2. Long silk scarves which are knotted like a tie and worn down the front of the body also work extremely well to make you look taller. Of course, unlike a man’s tie which is worn close to the neck, the same principle applies as at 1. above, and the knot needs to hang at the top of the cleavage. Again, team your scarf up with a V-necked dress or top for maximum effect.

3. Because the vertical look is what you are trying to achieve to give an impression of greater height, another great look which works especially well with a smart business suit is one where the silk scarf is worn underneath the collar and lapels of a jacket. Simply tuck the scarf under the collar and lapels and let the ends hang down freely. With your neck still exposed and the vertical lines of the scarf accentuating your body length, you will not only look taller, but slimmer too.

4. Particularly useful for an evening look, wearing a long silk scarf over one shoulder again provides a heightening and slimming look. If you are teaming your scarf up with a strapless dress or one which has very thin straps, then try using a very low tack fashion tape to secure it.

Women love accessories. Shoes, bags, hats, belts and scarves, not only are they all beautiful in their own right, but they can totally transform our look, add a touch of individualism or even quirkiness and inject interest into an otherwise ordinary outfit. They can lift a whole ensemble with an injection of color. More so than any of the other of today’s much-loved accessories though, women’s scarves have a truly delightful versatility which makes them a must-have for any lady’s closet.

Most of us have probably owned women’s scarves in the past, or even have a collection in our closet now. We wear them around our necks, waists and hips to create stunning effects, and we might even wear them to create an empire line on a simple dress. We even wear them in our hair as decoration or as practical accessories to keep the sun from doing any damage to color and highlight treatments or to stop it from drying it out and turning it brittle. Rarely do we think about using them to accessorize our accessories though.

Much to the amusement of the men in our lives, us ladies rarely go anywhere without a trusty handbag, often containing what appears to be everything but the kitchen sink. As well as being so practical though, the sizes, shapes, styles and colors that we select say much about who we are, although often our choice is limited in a financial sense to what we can afford. A handbag, however, is a prime example of an accessory which can be given a whole new lease of life with the use of a unique and fabulous scarf to transform it from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Open up your closet and look at your collection, not only of regular handbags that you use for work and shopping at the mall, but your evening bags and beach bags too. Do they have any detail such as loops or rings where you could thread a stunning silk scarf of a coordinating color to create a really individual look? If not, then simply loop a gorgeous women’s silk scarf around where the handle meets the main part of the bag and let it drape and flow. The effect is intensely feminine and will lift any bag out of the doldrums.

Women tend either to be hat people or not – there usually is no in-between where hats are concerned. If you are a hat person though, and you want to give yours a complete but instant facelift, then again, a fabulous silk scarf is the way to do it. Take a floppy beach hat or even a chic one that you want to wear to a wedding, and try tying a long silk scarf above the brim to change the look entirely. You can either wrap it around and around until all the fabric has been used up and tuck in the ends, or simply wrap it once, tie in a knot and leave the ends of the scarf to trail behind you. Either way, you will feel as though you are wearing a brand new piece of headgear.

Whether they have been with us since birth or have been collected on our journey through life, most of us have at least a few imperfections that we would rather not display to the world for part or even any of the time. At the same time, however, we do not want to have to cover ourselves up with clothing which is either unflattering or downright uncomfortable, and this is where luxurious 100% silk scarves and shawls with stunning and unique hand painted designs can really come into their own.

For some women, the site of an injection can scar quite badly, leaving a large and unsightly circular mark at the top of the arm. Especially on those occasions when they want to look really special, this can make them feel self-conscious or embarrassed, but the thought of having to put aside that gorgeous little strappy dress in favor of something with sleeves is just unbearable. The solution? Simply drape a silk scarf or shawl around the shoulders and upper arms and, hey presto, no more imperfection.

Scars which have resulted from operations can not only look unsightly, but these, of course, have even greater potential for embarrassment. Even those who might not ask directly about the scarring are often apt to stare openly or keep taking discreet glances, and naturally this can cause a great deal of discomfort. In cases where it is on view and people do ask, it also has the potential to bring up painful memories that you may not wish to discuss. Again, by using an eye-catching silk scarf or shawl, you can make any such mark disappear without having to compromise on what you wear underneath.

Although many women who are born with port wine stains on their skin live with them quite openly and without any feeling of self-consciousness, others go to great lengths to disguise them with make-up or to cover them up, if not all of the time, then certainly for those special nights out. Marks such as these which are in the neck area can be expertly hidden by a women’s silk scarf tied in an appropriate way, and the feel of the luxury of the silk fabric will take away any thoughts of what lies underneath. If the mark is particularly strong in color, choose a bright, eye-catching design to make a defiant statement.

Something else which can cause many women to feel awkward or uncomfortable is vitiligo, the skin condition which causes the skin to lose its pigment. Typically, larger and larger areas of the skin are affected, giving a very mottled appearance which many sufferers themselves find unsightly. Whether for everyday wear or just for special occasions, a beautiful silk scarf or shawl may not be able to hide all of the patches, but it will hide most of those on the upper body. Providing it does not make you look washed out, try to go for tones which match with the natural shades of your skin, as this will help to disguise it further.

No matter what their age, shape or size, there are few women who are entirely satisfied with every aspect of their figure. For some it might be an extra few unwanted inches around the waist or hips that are the cause for concern, while for others it might be the unsightliness of flabby upper arms or bulging tummy fat. Particularly for those ladies whose weight and size tends to fluctuate regularly, investing in a whole new wardrobe each time their body changes would be impossible, but at times when weight is on the increase, their existing items of clothing can start to show all of those bulges that they would rather keep hidden.

With all the pressure on women these days to conform to some impossible stick thin body image, it is hardly surprising that we want to cover up any evidence of being less than perfect, but dressing in clothes which make us look as though we are wearing a tent of course does nothing for our self-esteem. Putting on a few pounds, however, does not mean that we have to give up on style and elegance, and one very inexpensive, practical and extremely attractive solution is to use fabulous silk scarves and shawls to hide those little imperfections.

Sumptuous hand painted silk scarves and hand-dyed shawls actually work in two quite separate ways to detract attention from those parts of the body that we would really rather not make a feature of. For one thing, the huge number of ways that they can be tied and worn on different parts of the body means that they can be used to cover up imperfections or to deceive the eye into thinking that we are an entirely different shape. In addition, however, the very beauty of the accessories themselves acts superbly in taking the focus off our shape and placing it firmly on the scarf or shawl itself.

Flabby upper arms, upper back and underarm areas are, of course, some of the easiest to hide with a scarf or shawl and you do not need much creativity to be able to do this effectively and elegantly. Whether you simply drape it over the shoulders and arms or throw one corner back over the opposite shoulder, no-one will be any the wiser as to those little bulges underneath. To disguise a larger waist or hips, meanwhile, a long shawl is ideal, but do make sure that it is long enough because anything which stops short will only accentuate the problem.

With their stunning hand crafted designs, whole palette of colors which takes in everything from the bold and the beautiful to the dreamy pastels and exquisite silk fabric, women’s silk scarves and shawls are an excellent way to let your accessory, rather than your imperfections, steal the show. As the fabric is soft and will not cling, there will be no sign of any of those parts that you would rather keep under wraps.

When you wake up and getting ready for school or work or wherever it is you’re going you think about what else to add to your assembly. Whether you get it ready the night before or your throw something on as quickly as possible so not to be late you think of what else to wear with your outfit. Sometimes we wear the simplest accessories, stud earrings, bracelets, hooped earrings, a couple of rings, a necklace, an anklet, and even belts. We can put our accessories in our minds and try to combine the perfect match sometimes we get it right other times…not so much. But we all know that one of the items that can make or break the outfit is the bag. And if you weren’t sure about this article now you are. Yes, there are other factors that can make or break your outfits such as the shoes, the other accessories your pick out such as the earrings or the necklace, the socks, and even the jeans. But sometimes the biggest and even the most eye catching piece is your bag.

In high school book bags can vary. You can have your off should bags that resemble purses or you can have back pack, roll back packs, and no those are not linked to just the “geeks” and you can have you massive computer bag. All varieties can be very sheik and classy. And just like your clothing the material your bag is made out of is very crucial to your outfit as well as the color and the little details that go into to it.

For the school place cotton and polyester bags are perfect if they get dirty it’s easy to put them in the wash on gentle cycle so that they can be cleaned or spot wash. Although there are numerous ways to wear a silk scarf around the neck, some styles work better for certain occasions than they do for others. Tie it one way and it will look more casual, another and it will give you an air of smart professionalism, and another way still and it will look stunning with an elegant evening gown.

Of course, before deciding on how you would like to wear your silk scarf, you need to choose one which is appropriate for the occasion. Although they do come in many different shapes and sizes, the longer ones tend to look much more elegant and sophisticated for evening functions such as cocktail parties, visits to the opera or theater, charity benefits and so on. For a look of real class, the handmade examples which feature unique designs and are painted by hand using special silk dyes are far superior, and of course help you to avoid the potential embarrassment of bumping into someone else who is wearing the same thing. In addition, the 100% silk fabric which is used to produce these stunning accessories drapes and floats in a way which is unmistakable, so everyone will know that you are wearing the very best quality.

The very simplest way to wear a long silk scarf with evening attire is simply to drape it around the back of the neck so that the two free ends hang down the front of the body. Alternatively, you could either loop the length of the scarf once around the neck so that the ends hang to the front or, for an extremely elegant look, do the same thing but have the two lengths of fabric reaching down your back. The latter method looks particularly striking with dresses which are cut low at the back, but either method works especially well for women who want to hide any wrinkling on the neck or even unsightly birth marks or scars. Two other very simple methods of wearing a long scarf involve draping the fabric across the back of the neck so that the ends fall to the front of the body, and then either tossing one end across the opposite shoulder completely so that the fabric sits closely against the front of the neck, or leaving the crossed end lying on the opposite shoulder.

For a very sophisticated look which works extremely well for those with long elegant necks, a rosette is an excellent choice. Simply hang a long silk scarf around the back of the neck, allowing the two ends to fall to the front of the body. Twist one end of the fabric over the other again and again to create a rope-like effect, and continue doing this until the fabric starts to double back on itself and moves close up against the neck, sitting slightly off center. When all the fabric has been used up, simply tuck the free ends into the back of the rosette that you have created so that they are not on show.
